Welcome to the site of the Motorgang for the Motorless. We are currently starting up our gang. Here you will find a quick summary on the planned route to our establisment.
The objective of the gang is to wonder how nice driving a motorcycle could be. Although the gang is still starting up, it is clear to us that the members of the gang do not own a motorcycle, do not have a drivers license for a motorcycle and never made a trip on a motorcycle in their live. Members who violate one or more of the above mentioned affairs will be expelled from the club immediately. This hard line has to be driven, because we want to be able to keep wondering how nice driving a motorcycle could be.
It is our opinion that at least the following bodies and authorities should be installed in order to get the show on the road.
There shall be a think tank installed, which will take care of the formation of the steering committee. The think tank will be a vital piece of kit needed to getting the case up and running. Besides this task, the think tank will decide when short breaks are needed in the process. How large the think tank will be will depend on the size of the Central Committee (socalled CC) and the chosen route towards our establishment.
The main task of the steering committee is to ensure that the bends in our journey to existence will be taken with the necessary accuracy. The steering committee will also play a vital role in the communications between the think tank and our Leader Of The Pack. When the conditions worsen, it will be up to the steering committee to shine a new light on the case.
The Steering Committee will purely be used as an instrument to steer the case in the right direction, slow things down or get things moving. It could take a while before the steering committee will be properly installed, we want to take our time to fine-tune its particular role to the circumstances as they are at this particular time. It is in our interest that our gangmembers are able to sit firmly in the saddle, so we can arrive at our or goal with an undamaged reputation.
Whilst the steering committee will take care of the execution, it is up to of the Leader Of The Pack to lead the way. It is his task to never leave the destination out of his or her sight, to decide which route shall be taken, and when to deviate from the planned course. It is also up to him or her to judge the chicanes and bumps in the road ahead. His or her appropriate hands-on mentality will take care of the smooth communication between him or her and the steering committee.
We feel that no body is complete without a committee; including Motorgangs. In order to take ourselves seriously we decided to install a Central Committee (CC). Inexperienced as we are in the field of motorcycling, the technical details surrounding the CC are not completely clear to us. However, it is obvious to us that she will be an integral part of the driving force which will move our gang towards our establishment.
